Most of us know about Ellis Faas, the make-up artist whom Vogue Paris has called “one of the most influential make-up artists of her generation. Faas’ international break-through came when Mario Testino was in the Netherlands to do a shoot for L’Uomo Vogue. In Ellis Faas’ portfolio he found the style of makeup he wanted, and this was the start of a fruitful collaboration. After Testino, the rest of the world followed, and since then she frequently worked with many photographers.

The colours that exist naturally in our bodies are complex and rich, but they’re also universal, shared by each and every one of us.
Products in the line run the same gamut as most other makeup brands, with creamy lipsticks (S$48) and shiny lip glazes (S$48), powders (S$49) and mascaras (S$64), but the Creamy Eyes eyeshadows (S$55) are the ones we’re looking forward to the most to giving a whirl. With a blend of flower and coffee extracts, the eye shadows are said to transform from its original liquid consistency to a matte powder upon application, leaving behind a smooth finish and rich colour that does not crease. Of course, there’s the novelty of applying eyeshadow with a pen.
