Legacy by Angostura was distilled using a seven-column continuous still, chill filtered and aged in a once-used 200 liter America oak cask, and was unveiled by John Georges, Angostura’s rum master distiller, who recently hosted an exclusive tastings in Australia. This exceedingly rare luxury for serious rum connoisseurs was created primarily to mark the 50th anniversary of Tobago and Trinidad, where it’ll be available in August.
Legacy by Angostura draws on distillery’s seven most precious and rare rums in its final recipe, the youngest of which is 17 years old. The rum brand Angostura actually set out to create the greatest sipping rum ever produced, and have been successful so far after creating the Legacy by Angostura that is both unique and unequalled.
