DANDY BIRD: BRACKISH FEATHER BOW TIES
Turning the heads daily is what a man looks forward for. Brackish Feather bow ties brings the outdoor inside with a true original. Turn more heads than a souped-up ‘86 Camaro with Brackish Bow Ties’ flagship style, the Jive Turkey. This is the one that started it all. Each bow tie is handcrafted with carefully selected feathers from farm-raised, unharmed Eastern turkeys. The feathers give off an iridescent bronze color for an original and noticeable look that will impress everyone from your arch nemesis to your cute but painfully critical grandmother. Fight back against the evil forces of uniformity with the Carolina Copper from Brackish Bow Ties. Turkey feathers are seamlessly overlaid over a formal base pattern, giving off a distinct copper look. Guaranteed to garner you a heaping amount of attention, with an extra dose of wow factor.
The year-end festive options just won’t stop! Here’s something for the spiffy gent: a feather bow tie that will give you wings to fly the strait-laced coop. Made to order by hand, the adjustable bows are cut from shimmering pheasant or turkey feathers, and presented in a gorgeously rustic wooden box. They may not pass muster at a white tie function, but they’ll certainly give you that extra pizazz at a “creative” black tie or lounge party.
At brackish- Each bow tie is made with only the most carefully selected feathers from farm raised Eastern turkeys. Once selected, we hand manipulate the feathers into just the right size and shape for each individual bow tie. We then carefully and seamlessly overlay the feathers in 4 different phases over a formal base pattern until we get exactly the desired result. The iridescent bronze color of these handpicked feathers portrays the true beauty of the animals in its most natural setting. Making sure to minimize feather separation and maximize durability, the precision involved in this process is second to none. Of course the secret ingredient in this process is the artistic vision of our founder Ben Ross who envisioned these amazing pieces of art that are already turning heads the world over.
