Jaeger-LeCoultre rose stands as a symbol of hope for all children.
Jaeger-LeCoultre is the name to trust when it is about luxury watches but the name is also been associated with the Venice International Film Festival for the eight consecutive years. And that is reason is enough for Jaeger-LeCoultre to present two new Rendez-Vous watches at the event. The 69th annual event is being held from August 29th to September 8th 2012.
Been the oldest international film festival in the world, Venice Film Festival celebrates its 69th annual event and as an official partner since 2005, Jaeger-LeCoultre watches will be worn by stars on the red carpet, and awarded to prizewinners in recognition of their achievements.
The initiative entails funding of the maternity centre in Afghanistan and Italian actor and actress, Cristiana Capotondi and Riccardo Scamarcio were the patrons for the initiative on the red carpet. Actors graced the event by wearing Reverso watches engraved with a Rose- A task specially performed for the red carpet on Mostra.
Of the two new Jaeger-LeCoultre Rendez-Vous timepieces, The Rendez-Vous Art Haute Joaillerie watches are created using the snow-setting technique, diamonds, and the other with blue sapphires and rubies. A gem-setter places each diamond individually by hand, using stones of various sizes to entirely cover the metal of the watch.
The watches will then be auctioned by Christie’s with proceeds donated to Emergency. Hundreds of newborns will take their first breath with the help of Jaegar-LeCoultre’s commitment, which will finance the center for the duration of the festival.
We whole heartedly appreciate the effort invested by Venice Film Festival and Jaeger-LeCoultre to support Emergency, a humanitarian association dedicated to helping victims of armed conflict and poverty. A number of Reverso watches engraved with a rose were specially created for the occasion
Thus luxury is not kept limited to rich and wealthy but the opulence is extended to needy and poor by effectively taking care of their needs and concerns.
