Audi may be a good company but it has a long way to hit the target of being the world’s no.1 company by 2018 as its vision statement suggests. Though it already impresses by manufacturing 30,000 cars in a day and operates 94 plants around the world. Audi has to match the level of mighty Porsche, Buggatti and Lamborghini.
The luxury car segment has been quite responsive to the needs of the user, courting the market with classy interior or use of diesel engine for economy and fuel efficiency. The car represents its luxury by featuring premium materials and soft leather. With the help of new standard architecture and philosophy they are redefining style and sophistications. The combo of black and chrome give the car a star trek look which attracts youths specially. Now Most of the company concentrates to produce diesel engine.
With the oil price hiking diesel price became doubled in the past decade and petrol price become hundred times than the previous so the choice for the fuel efficient customer is diesel. The international car show revealed 1,000 models of new car in Beijing last month. China will become the forerunner in the world car market. As a sector Automobile is smashing and automobile giants are expecting the Asia pacific as a growing market. The purchasing power of middle class are on the high and the ambitions are mostly fulfilled through housing, acquisition of swanky cars and mobile phones.
