Hennessey Performance Engineering is a popular American tuning house and they specialize in modifying sports and super cars from several brands like Ferrari, Porsche, McLaren, Dodge, Audi, Mercedes-Benz and so on. Hennessey Performance Engineering started its journey in the year 1991 by John Hennessey, and their main facility is located in the West of Houston, Texas. Most importantly, the firm focuses on mechanical component modification for creating high-powered cars. Besides performance automobiles, they also tune SUV’s such as Ford Raptors and Jeep Cherokees etc. They also work on luxury cars like Bentleys and Muscle cars like the Dodge Charger and Challenger and much more.

Most recently, Hennessey has entered the market with its all new 2013 Hennessey SRT Viper. Hennessey tuners announced the initial details of their tuning programs for the 2013 SRT Viper. To kick off with a good start they will offer two Venom packages, 1. The 700R and 2. The 1000TwinTurbo.

The standard one will offer 640 horsepower and 600 lb.-ft. of torque which gushes out from 8.4 liter V10 engine. The tuning on the 700R includes: engine’s cylinder heads, exhaust, air filters, management software, etc gets replaced with high performance parts, and also it brings along sport headers and catalysts, As an add-on the package includes a carbon aero kit, racing-inspired interior, unique badging, and new wheels. It can do a sprint of 0-60 in 3.1 seconds and it reaches at a top speed of 216mph.
On the other hand, the Venom 1000 Twin Turbo SRT, gets upgraded with new pistons, rods, bearings, huge turbochargers and intercoolers, a bespoke exhaust system, and much more. With the compilation of advance most technologies, the 1000 does a 0-60mph in 2.7 seconds whereas it completes quarter mile in 9.7 seconds in 152mph.
