Brad Pitt has already impressed us with his immense acting talent but if you thought that’s the only passion of his life than you need to know that the actor also has craving for shaping woods into furniture. After reaching to the top position that he is now usually people tend to have the sense of contentment with no more ambitions left to achieve but Brad Pitt is person of exception. Brad Pitt is planning to launch his furniture collection in collaboration with Frank Pollaro between November 13 and 15 in New York.
Frank Pollaro whose firm is known for its fantastic Art Deco furniture designs is lending its further expertise to Brad Pitt for carving tables, chairs to beds. Apparently, he has been “doodling ideas for buildings and furniture since the 1990s.” But it wasn’t until Pitt met Pollaro that he decided to realize this dream. Pollaro chanced upon the actor’s sketch book and proposed to collaborate on a project.
There’s an Art Deco ocean liner of a bed, dining and cocktail tables, club chairs and a bathtub in fine Statuario Venato marble. All the furniture will be produced in limited editions signed by Pitt and Pollaro and certainly carry hair-raising price tags.
Though Brad Pitts newly exposed passion is nothing do with the Show Business but we still feel that the actor by profession would definitely give his best in designing furniture which will be available for grabs as well. Actor Brad Pitt created furniture for a luxury design house with a high-end collection is inspired by both Art Nouveau and Art Deco, according to Architectural Digest.
Brad Pitt has effectively sold his charm through movies he worked in and now he is about to display one more aspect of his versatile nature as he will be selling furniture designed by himself. He has designed a diamond ring for his partner, Angelina Jolie, when the couple got engaged earlier this year. This means he has extended passion for art which is not restricted till movies only.
