SCARLET

Scarlet was picked up and held every day since 2 days old.   We pulled her from the nest at 4 weeks, caring for her since that time.  She should be weaned and ready to go to her new home in a couple of weeks.  Scarlet is very intelligent and loves to hang out with you.  If we are away for a little while, she does this cute little excited dance in a circle with her wings out.  She is all puffy and will jump on your hand to tell you how glad she is to see you.  Scarlett is very sweet and loves to "nest" in our hand while being cuddled next to our chest.  She will extend her little beak up and give you kisses on the chin or nuzzle her head back and forth.   Scarlett is looking for a loving home in which to transfer her affections and learn from her new parent(s). 

Buddy's Babies

Buddy's Birds is a small exclusive aviary.  We breed Solomon Island Eclectus only and never have over 8 birds at one time.  This gives us enough time to donate attention to each individual bird and baby that we have.  We love our babies, and it shows!  Buddy's babies are hand-fed, cuddled and played with several times a day.   We are rewarded with secure, happy and healthy babies that live to return the love given to them.  We feed and wean our babies on an individual basis according to their needs.  Your baby will be ready to go home when he or she is fully weaned (10-16 weeks) and finger trained (to step up).  If you are sweet and kind to your new bird, your baby will be gentle, sweet and easy to handle.  Parents of reserved babies are encouraged to visit.   Prices are non-negotiable!

Sales Information

If you have other birds or plan on socializing your new bird with others, we recommend that you have them vaccinated with the Polyomavirus vaccine.  It is a series of 2 shots that must be given 14 days apart.  You may get your birds vaccinated by your avian vet or upon request, we will take them to get vaccinated for a fee of $45 per vaccination by our certified avian vet, Dr. Sam Backos, Backos Bird Clinic in Deerfield Beach, FL. 

All of our birds are guaranteed healthy for shipment.  All problems must be reported within 48 hours of pick-up or arrival and must be verified as a pre-existing condition by a certified Avian vet.  

Sorry, NO Shipping.  Several people have made arrangements to fly in to pick them up and take them home.

Reservations and Payment
