The project will include an 18-hole PGA Championship Golf Course at the heart of the development, in addition to a sumptuous spa, boutique hotels and international schools from kindergarten to secondary level.</p>
<p>Damac Properties has announced plans to develop an 18-hole PGA Championship golf course worth Dh150 million in collaboration with Donald Trump at the heart of its $2.5 billion ‘Akoya by Damac’ master plan development, a senior company official told Gulf News.</p>
<p>Construction of the Trump International Golf Club will begin in June and negotiations to appoint a contractor are in the final stage, Ziad El Chaar, Managing Director of Damac, said in an interview. It is due for completion within 18 months.</p>
<p>The fully-integrated community will also include retail brands, leisure and entertainment offerings, a sports complex and landscaping throughout.</p>
<p>Akoya by Damac takes its name from one of the most exclusive pearls in the world. The project will include distinctive architecture and five-star service in every element of the luxury living environment. It will be the largest project by size and scale that Damac Properties has ever launched, further confirming the stabilisation and upturn in the Dubai real estate market.</p>
<p>The purchase of land from Dubailand has been completed and all required paperwork received. Dubailand is a popular district in Dubai that includes entertainment, sporting, shopping and residential communities.</p>

<p>Bose, who are no stranger to creating beautiful noises, have thrown their hat into the Bluetooth headphone game. Their brand spanking new AE2w Bluetooth headphones come with bells and whistles intact. They are essentially your standard pair of Bose headphones, but with a Bluetooth dongle attached. It provides access to a multi-function button, volume controls, power switch and micro-USB port for charging. The battery life for this dongle clocks in at an impressive seven hours. Even cooler, is it can be swapped out for those times when you just need cords in your life. </p>
<p>Bose Corporation hereby declares that this product is in compliance with the essential requirements and other relevant provisions of Directive 1999/5/EC and all other applicable EU directive requirements.<br />
Inbuilt with Bose’s TriPort technology, the Bose AE2w offers active equalization to create more natural sounding audio and rich tone even on the deepest bass. The ear cups are made from soft cushioning materials that Bose claims will make the Bose AE2w comfortable enough to wear for hours on end. Lightweight too, the Bose AE2w features a detachable, battery-powered Bluetooth dongle on the left earcup, but it apparently weighs the same as a cable would. </p>
<p>Optimized for use with an iPad, the Bose AE2w is also compatible with most Bluetooth devices that support the Advanced Audio Distribution Profile or A2DP. Pairing the headphones is done wirelessly by pressing two buttons on the aforementioned Bluetooth adaptor on the left earcup.</p>

The year-long celebrations, held in Italy and abroad, will culminate on May 7 &#8211; 11, when 1200 km of Italy&#8217;s roads will be invaded by hundreds of vintage and modern-day Lamborghinis from every corner of the globe, as they parade through some of the country&#8217;s most beautiful cities. Lamborghini owners and dealers will take center stage in the most memorable gathering in the history of the company as they write another important chapter in the history of automotive events.</p>
<p> Because of the strong bond that has always existed between the company and the Emilia-Romagna region, the countless events held all over the world to celebrate the anniversary &#8211; with the participation of thousands of owners, collectors and fans &#8211; will be strongly characterized by a spirit of solidarity and public awareness. <p>After unveiling its fantastic Gatsby-themed New York store windows yesterday, Tiffany &#038; Co. launched its Great Gatsby jewelry collection this morning. (If you’ve seen the May cover of Vogue featuring Carey Mulligan you got a little preview—she’s wearing the hand ornament.) Spoiler alert: The collection is just as amazing as you would expect. Based on archival designs and created in collaboration with costume designer Catherine Martin, it is truly the modern version of the 1920s art deco era.</p>
<p>Featuring grand crystal pillars and glass bubbles, the elaborate windows showcase five key party scenes from the upcoming flick — and of course, plenty of sparkly jewels. “They put more than 150,000 craft beads in these windows, and they are all meticulously hand strung, so it was a real labor of love,” Richard Moore, vice president of creative visual merchandising at Tiffany &#038; Co. told Luxury Daily.</p>
<p>One window features a four-tier stack of Champagne coups overflowing with bubbly and accented by Tiffany chandelier earrings. In another, two white porcelain hands float in a sea of glass bubbles. Both wrists are decorated with a pearl-and-diamond bracelets from the store’s The Great Gatsby Collection.</p>
<p>Only shoppers with the most expensive tastes will be able to purchase the pieces, though, which cost up to $900,000 for a flower-shaped diamond ring.</p>
<p>At the line&#8217;s launch, Mr Luhrmann explained the symbolic importance of jewelry in the film, based on F. Scott Fitzgerald&#8217;s 1925 novel.</p>

They probably expected a brand new model, but the luxury watch manufacturer decided to do a little something else. Rolex has unveiled two fresh versions of older models: a GMT-Master II and a Platinum Daytona, both with new color variations.</p>
<p>The Daytona keeps its original 40mm dimension, but brings a new light blue dial and a brown cerachrom bezel. The color combination is classy and quite alluring, but more changes would have been very welcomed as well. Inside the case is a COSC automatic chronograph movement, calibre 4130, with a power reserve of 72 hours. At Baselworld yesterday Rolex unveiled a new black and blue GMT Master II and a 50th Anniversary Platinum Daytona. We have seen both pieces up close. The GMT Master II looks good and stays in line with the rest of the Rolex design DNA. The Rolex Daytona, though, seems out of place.</p>
<p>Also still 40mm in diameter, the new GMT-Master II is powered by a Rolex Calibre 3186. It features a two color cerachrom bezel insert with a day/night configuration. The colors are blue and black.<br />
The GMT-Master, introduced in 1955, was developed to meet the needs of international pilots. The GMT-Master II, unveiled in 2005, has proved to be even more invaluable to those whose professions involve long-distance travel. Featuring a rotatable 24-hour graduated bezel and a separate 24-hour hand, it allows those who travel the world to read three different time zones.</p>
<p>Talking about Daytona, the platinum timepiece is a beautiful replica of the original model with a few tweaks and additions in between. The face is tinted light blue with subtle brown detail on the dial and. A stunning display of class and elegance, this watch is due to drop in a few week. If purchasing is on the agenda, the price won’t be known until the release date draws close. For now, check out the pictures in the gallery after the jump.</p>

Martin, an Academy Award and Tony winning costume designer and art director, is world-renowned for her previous collaborations with husband Lurhmann on the films Strictly Ballroom, Romeo &#038; Juliet, Moulin Rouge and the Broadway stage design for La Bohéme.</p>
<p>Baz and Miuccia have always connected on their shared fascination with finding modern ways of releasing classic and historical references from the shackles of the past,” said Martin. “This connection is central to our relationship with Miuccia Prada on The Great Gatsby, and has connected our vision with hers. In the same way Nick Carraway reflects on a world that he is within and without, we have tried to create an environment that the audience will be subconsciously familiar with, yet separated from<br />

The flapper look of that era is oozing through all the creations as luxuriously rich fabrics like velvet and fur are used in the costumes included shimmering dresses covered with crystals, fringing and sequins brightening and dazzling in shades of emerald, jade, topaz and gold for the female leads. The male lead actors like Leonardo DiCaprio (Jay Gatsby) and Toby Maguire (Nick Carraway) are seem in outfits by American brand Brooks Brothers.<br />
With fashion through shimmering dresses making a comeback we wonder how much further into Gatsby or twenties living are we going to dive!</p>

The bright and bold color palette will be replicated on specially-designed bottles, with four different label designs and seven different Warhol inspirations including some of his famous quotes. They will be available from June 24th.</p>
<p>As a tribute to the legendary pop artist, the brand has partnered The Andy Warhol Foundation to produce a series of limited edition bottles inspired by Warhol, for Perrier’s 150th anniversary. </p>
<p>The screen prints would be replicated on the bottles featuring seven different designs that include some of the iconic artist’s famous quotes, such as: “In the future everyone will be world famous for 15 minutes”, “Art is what you can get away with”, and “I have Social Disease. I have to go out every night”. </p>
<p>Artists working on bottles for different companies are nothing new. KAWS, Futura, Andre Saraiva and even Warhol have previously worked with companies on alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks alike. And many people might not realize this is not the first time Perrier has joined forces with Andy Warhol. In the ’80s, Warhol created a series of screen prints of Perrier bottles in a vibrant color palette. Those prints will now be replicated on the labels and packaging of Perrier bottles available wherever the sparkling mineral water is sold.<br />
Perrier’s limited-edition Warhol bottles will be available from 24 June 2013. </p>

<p>The twin in-line barrels store the power needed to guarantee that it will run non-stop for 192 hours but the result is also due to the patented oscillator with a Spiromax® balance spring and a Pulsomax® escapement which, being friction-free, do not require lubrication, so saving energy each time the lever contacts the escape wheel. Additionally, the extremely hard, totally anti magnetic and corrosion-resistant Silinvar® material is two-thirds lighter than steel, which further optimizes the energy balance. </p>
<p> Patek Philippe has announced the Ref. 5200 Gondolo 8 Days, which comes in an 18k white gold case. It measures 47mm x 35mm and has a convex sapphire crystal that is alluring to say the least. The concave sapphire caseback only adds to the glamour. The Ref. 5200 Gondolo 8 Days is water resistant to 30 meters, which suggests a person can easily take a dive inside a pool or even a shallow lake. Patek&#8217;s very own form caliber 28-20 REC 8J PS IRM C J with 28 jewels forms the elegant Swiss manual wind movement.</p>
<p>The new calibre is housed in an anatomically curved rectangular case in white gold reminiscent of the Art Deco style. The screwed case back incorporates an anatomically contoured sapphire-crystal insert, and the crystal that protects the dial is ground to a convex shape that follows the silhouette of the case without any visual distortion. Note the “trompe l’oeil” effect used for the going train bridge, which at first sight might seem to be an ensemble of three separate curved bridges.</p>
